Traser P67 Officer Pro: The Science of Perpetual Self-Powered Illumination
An exploration of trigalight tritium gas tube technology that glows non-stop for 25 years without charging or batteries, trusted by tactical forces worldwide.
Traser tactical timepiece glowing in darkness using trigalight technology
Light in Absolute Darkness
Conventional photoluminescent watch coatings (such as Super-LumiNova) require prior exposure to an external light source to charge, and their radiance fades dramatically within a few hours.
For Swiss manufacturer mb-microtec—the inventor of trigalight® and parent brand of Traser—this compromise was unacceptable.
How Trigalight Works
Trigalight consists of hermetically sealed capillary borosilicate glass vials lined with a fine phosphor powder and filled with tritium gas. As the low-energy electrons emitted by tritium strike the phosphor layer, they produce a constant, self-sustaining luminescent glow.
- Zero External Energy: Requires no battery, button push, or sun exposure.
- 25-Year Lifespan: Guaranteed minimum decade of intense brightness.
- Military Utility: Used by special forces where night vision and operational stealth are paramount.
